Tyre Bales
Tyre bales are compacted block of end-of-life tyres that have been mechanically processed and baled for ease of handling, storage, transportation. Every year globally around 1.8 billion end-of-life tyres are disposed. Tyre bales are used in many major projects involving landfill engineering and construction. It is also used in recycling industry to produce rubber mulch, crumb rubber powder, crumb rubber modified bitumen, etc.
Rubber Mulch
Rubber Mulch is made from recycled rubber, typically derived from shredded or ground up waste tyres. It is used as a durable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional organic mulches such as wood chips or straw. Rubber mulch is long lasting, water permeable, pest resistant, and low maintenance. It is often used in playground and landscaping for its cushioning effect. It is also used in pathways, artificial turf, and erosion control.
Crumb Rubber Powder
Crumb Rubber Powder is a fine, granular material produced by grinding recycled rubber; typically from end-of-life tyres. The rubber is processed to remove steel and fiber contaminants, resulting in a clean, uniform powder that can be used in various applications. The size can vary depending on intended application ranging from 30 mesh to 200 mesh. It is used for asphalt modification, sports surfaces, rubber products such as mats and tiles. it can also be added to adhesives and sealants to enhance their flexibility, durability, and performance.
TDF
Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) is a type of alternative fuel produced from recycling end-of-life tyres. It is used as supplemental fuel in various industrial process, providing a sustainable way of utilizing waste tyres and reduce dependency on traditional fossil fuels. It is most commonly used in cement Kilns, where the high temperature and long residence time ensures complete combustion of rubber material. It is also used in pulp and paper mills, power plants, and industrial boilers.
